Digital Photo Restoration
We can bring back precious photographic memories that otherwise might have been lost forever. We repair and restore old or damaged photographs, fixing tears, stains, cracks, fading and more. We can adjust exposure and color, sharpen image, and removes noise and scanner dust. We also perform color correction, exposure correction, sharpening and a wide variety of special effects such as adding or removing people or other elements, background changes, and the list goes on.
Your original image will be returned to you unaffected along with a restored, retouched or enhanced photograph you will be proud to display. If you don't want to send your precious family heirlooms you can have the image scanned and email it to us.
Photo restoration fees are based on the number of hours required to complete the work. Current rate is $15.95 per hour. Once we examine your photo we will quote you a fixed price. In general, it takes 1- 2 hours per minor restoration when photo is in good condition and needs a number of repairs or enhancements, scratches or surface cracking, small areas damaged or missing, wrinkling over some important detail, water damage.
After restoration, you receive a print quality digital image ready for print. We can also send your file to Ofoto ( an easy to use Kodak company online digital photo service) , so you can order the sizes and number of prints you desire.
